Sean Freeman joined iRhythm as Executive Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development in July 2025. Previously, Mr. Freeman served as Global Head of Strategy and Business Development at Ceramtec Group Ag., a global medical device manufacturer. Prior to CeramTec, he served as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development at NuVasive, Inc., a medical device company. In this role, Mr. Freeman led strategic planning, market intelligence and inorganic growth initiatives across the company. He also led the emerging markets commercial team, and the NuVasive Clinical Services business unit during his tenure. Prior to NuVasive, Mr. Freeman was Head of M&A and Corporate Ventures at Life Technologies, a global life sciences tools business.
He holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a BComm(Hons) from the University of the Witwatersrand, and is a CFA charterholder.
