Michael J. Coyle
President, Chief Executive Officer
Michael J. Coyle joined iRhythm as President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of directors in January 2021. Most recently, Mr. Coyle served in leadership positions at Medtronic, most recently as Executive Vice President and President for the Cardiovascular Portfolio and previously as Executive Vice President and Group President, Cardiac and Vascular Group. Prior to that, Mr. Coyle served as President of the Cardiac Rhythm Management division at St. Jude Medical. Prior positions included serving as President of St. Jude’s Daig Catheter division and numerous leadership positions at Eli Lilly & Company. Mr. Coyle received an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
Mark J. Day
Executive Vice President of Research & Development
Mark J. Day serves as iRhythm’s Executive Vice President of Research & Development and has had other leadership roles in Research & Development and systems development since joining in 2007. Previously he worked in Medtronic’s Cardiac Rhythm Disease Management division. Prior to that, Mr. Day was Chief Technical Officer of CarePages, Inc., a blogging site for patients. Mr. Day has an M.B.A. in Marketing from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, a Ph.D. in Computation Flow Physics from Stanford University, and also received an M.S. from Stanford, and a B.Sc. from Queen’s University, both in Mechanical Engineering.
Chief Financial Officer
Douglas Devine joined iRhythm in 2020 as the Chief Financial Officer. Doug brings more than 25 years of financial leadership experience to iRhythm, including a track record of success in fundraising, influencing business strategy, driving cost reductions, and implementing financial systems. He joins the company from GlobalFoundaries, a multi-billion dollar semiconductor foundry where he has been the Chief Financial Officer. Doug holds an MBA from the University of Michigan. He has also earned his CPA certification.
Judith C. Lenane
Executive Vice President, Products and Chief Clinical Officer
Judith C. Lenane joined iRhythm in 2008 and serves as the Executive Vice President, Products and as Chief Clinical Officer. During her tenure at iRhythm, Ms. Lenane has held other executive roles including Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President, Operations. Prior to joining iRhythm, Ms. Lenane was the Vice President of Business Development for Centura Health, a major integrated healthcare delivery system in the state of Colorado. Ms. Lenane serves on the board of directors for HSS, Inc. and holds a B.S. in Nursing from Mercy College of Detroit and an M.S. in Administration-Healthcare from the University of Maryland.
Daniel G. Wilson
Executive Vice President of Strategy, Corporate Development and Investor Relations
Daniel G. Wilson has served as iRhythm’s Executive Vice President of Strategy, Corporate Development and Investor Relations since June 2019. Previously, he served as Director and Head of Business Development at Penumbra, Inc., a global healthcare company focused on innovative therapies. Prior to Penumbra, he held various positions at J.P. Morgan over a 10-year tenure, most recently as Executive Director in the Healthcare Investment Banking group focused on digital health, medical technology and emerging healthcare companies. Earlier in his career, he held various positions in Piper Jaffray’s Healthcare Investment Banking group. He started his career at KPMG as an Audit Associate. Mr. Wilson has a B.S. in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo.
Dietra N. Jones
Executive Vice President, Clinical Operations
Dietra N. Jones serves as iRhythm’s Executive Vice President of Clinical Operations. She joined the company as Director of Clinical Operations in 2009 and has served in other leadership roles. Previously, she was Director of Clinical Operations and Research Services for two prior start-up companies in the Cardiac Ambulatory Monitoring space. Mrs. Jones has also held Medical Safety roles in Research and Development at Abbott Laboratories. Her focus on clinical quality started while working in various roles in the adult and pediatric ICU settings after completing her education at St. Joseph School of Nursing.
Kaja J. Odegard
Vice President of Human Resources
Kaja J. Odegard serves as iRhythm’s Vice President of Human Resources and has held various leadership positions as Generalist, Manager and HR Director since joining in 2008. Previously, she served as Executive Assistant to the President of the FoxHollow division of ev3, Inc., a publicly traded developer of endovascular devices. Prior to acquisition by ev3, Inc., she was the Executive Assistant to the President of FoxHollow Technologies, Inc., a designer and provider of medical devices for the treatment of peripheral artery disease. Ms. Odegard has a B.A. in Political Science & International Studies from California Lutheran University.
Doug C. Biehn
Executive Vice President of Marketing
Doug C. Biehn joined iRhythm in November 2017 and was appointed the company’s Executive Vice President of Marketing in June 2019. Prior to joining iRhythm, Mr. Biehn served in leadership roles at AliveCor, Inc., where he was Chief Operating Officer and at Blue Shield of California, where he was the Chief Marketing Officer. During his time at Blue Shield of California, Mr. Biehn helped achieve the fastest growing Blue Plan nationwide. Earlier in his career, he held various marketing leadership roles at premier marketing services firms, including Landor Associates and Young & Rubicam. Mr. Biehn has a B.S. in Business Administration & Marketing from San Francisco State University and an M.B.A. from the University of San Francisco.
Executive Vice President, Payer Relations and Market Access
Mark Topash has served as iRhythm’s Executive Vice President, Payer Relations and Market Access since June 2017. Mark leads the key revenue cycle functions involving third party payers, as well as opening up new markets through payer relationship efforts. Previously, Mark was the Vice President of Network Strategy and Payer Partnerships at Evolent Health, a population health management and consulting firm. Prior to that, he was the Vice President of Contracting for Hill Physicians Medical Group. Mark has served in a variety of roles in the managed care and health plan industry, including as Vice President of Analytics at Capital BlueCross, and provider network management and contracting roles with Humana, WellPoint and United Healthcare. He has a B.S. in Health Science and a Master’s degree in Health Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Missouri – Columbia.
David A. Vort
Executive Vice President of Sales
David A. Vort has served as iRhythm’s Executive Vice President of Sales since January 2014. Previously, he was Vice President of US Sales at InTouch Health, a provider of telemedicine and remote presence solutions. Prior to that, Mr. Vort served as Area Vice President of Western Sales for Intuitive Surgical, Inc., the manufacturer of the da Vinci Surgical Robotics system. Before that, Mr. Vort was the Revision Business Sales Director for Stryker Corporation. Mr. Vort also founded and held several positions domestically and in Europe for the Global Healthcare Exchange, LLC. In his early career, he held several positions with U.S. Surgical Corporation, prior to its sale to Covidien plc. Mr. Vort holds a B.S. in Political Science from the University of the Pacific.
Allan B. Wilsker
Executive Vice President of Information Technology and Customer Service
Allan B. Wilsker has served as our Executive Vice President of Information Technology and Customer Service since January 2013. Previously, he was the Vice President of Operations at Epocrates, Inc., a software developer for healthcare professionals. Prior to joining Epocrates, Mr. Wilsker was Vice President of Operations for Privada and also held critical technology roles at Remedy Corporation and Cypress Semiconductor leading the development and management of the global, corporate infrastructures. He started his career at Hewlett Packard in the Systems Engineering Organization where he led major Network and Systems Management consulting projects. He holds a BS in Administrative Systems Management from Drexel University.
